Account Executive- Sales

Kontoor Brands is currently seeking an Account Executive to serve as the primary account contact and relationship manager for multiple accounts domestically. The ideal candidates will drive results through the understanding of our current business environment and monitor opportunities in the market to stay ahead of trends. This role will serve as the sales and product expert to multiple business teams and will collaborate with internal cross functional departments to enable them to understand and assess sales data to make informed business decisions. 

The Account Executive will be responsible for managing data, relationships, and accounts to establish competitive opportunities for our brands to succeed in the market.  In this role you will serve as the subject matter expert in our brands and organization to ultimately drive business results.

Responsibilities:  

  • Sells, negotiates, and communicates Brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Work cross functionally looking for ways to optimize catalog offerings while managing risk to Kontoor Brands. Provides direction to these cross functional areas.
  • Develop strong, effective internal and external relationships which identify opportunities to grow our business with current and emerging accounts.
  • Works closely with the VP, Sales to develop strategies to grow the assigned categories, driving company initiatives and key account management   
  • Analyze sales data, both overall and specific market share, looking for both growth and missed opportunities.
  • Develops power point and presents strategy to internal partners and external buying teams.
  • Coordinates category management, replenishment and sales planning strategies with designated personnel
  • Work with marketing to determine timing and tactics to optimize marketing spend.

Requirements:  

  • 6-8 years of experience in key account sales related role
  • Comfortable with up to 30% travel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Have experience working with accounts that require high SKU counts
  • Strong analytical skills in PowerBI and Excel
  • Ability to work internally with cross functional areas
