Analytics (GA4) Project/Program Manager

How you will LEAD:

                     We are looking for a passionate and experienced Project Manager to be part of UMG’s Data Strategy and Instrumentation team to manage enterprise-wide data instrumentation projects including post-launch deliverables for a global GA4 migration.

                     The Technical Project Manager will lead and manage the post GA4 migration support and general global alignment efforts, including roadmap planning and management, execution, communications, and closure.

                     The role includes developing a detailed project plan, timeline, and resource allocation for each Enterprise Instrumentation project and coordinating with technical teams and vendors to ensure the successful prioritization deployments of web analytics tracking events & enhancements across brand and fan-facing sites, stores and campaign pages.  This individual will work closely with the Tech Development and Instrumentation Management team to understand business needs and mitigate risk.

                     This candidate must have proven experience with managing Big Data type projects. Project delivery experience should encompass web & app analytic solutions and familiarity with CDP (Customer Data Platform) technology solutions, Martech systems, & Big Data management. The role is also expected to interface with a 3rd-party Professional Services team and business stakeholders across Audience Development, Global Marketing Tech, Data Engineering, eCommerce, Paid Media, etc.

 

How you’ll CREATE:

                     Establish and implement project management boards, operational processes and methodologies to ensure global analytics projects and general support requests are delivered on time and within budget while adhering to high-quality standards and meeting stakeholder expectations.

                     Build project plans and work assignments; direct and monitor work efforts daily.

                     Appropriately escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues.

                     Coordinate communication throughout the enterprise for items that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.

                     Organize and maintain a centralized view of project status and progress to internal teams and business stakeholders.

                     Work closely in partnership with:

·                      Data, Engineering and third-party vendors to determine timing and feasibility of implementation requests

·                      Product Management to understand upcoming roadmap priorities

·                      Global business stakeholders from Marketing, Tech, Label and Business operations

                     Work across multiple time zones with distributed international teams.

                     Create best practices for team members to follow to meet key milestones of enterprise-wide initiatives.

 

Bring your VIBE:

                     Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

                     6+ years of project management experience with an increasing level of responsibility, preferably in a product organization, Digital Marketing, Martech, or AdTech.

                     Experience working in a complex, matrixed environment, with aggressive deadlines, managing multiple stakeholders, with demonstrated experience executing under pressure.

                     Capable of earning trust and influencing stakeholders without formal authority to achieve required results.

                     Skilled listener and communicator, both verbally and written, who can engage colleagues and stakeholders with confidence.
