The Retention and CRM Associate will play a key role in supporting Underdog’s customer retention campaigns. You’ll build and launch campaigns across email, push, and in-app channels that connect with our users in meaningful ways. Supporting the Retention and CRM team, you’ll use data-driven insights to make every message count. This is a fast-paced and hands-on role where you’ll see the impact of your work right away.

About the role
  • Execute customer communication campaigns across our email, push notification, and in-app message channels.
  • Collaborate with the senior team to design and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and report on actionable insights.
  • Drive experimentation through A/B testing to optimize campaign performance.
  • Regularly monitor CRM campaign execution, including during on-call hours as needed.
  • Learn and grow within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, gaining hands-on experience in sports gaming retention.
Who you are
  • 1+ years of CRM or lifecycle marketing experience (preferably in gaming, ecommerce or tech).
  • Experience with A/B testing, data analysis and campaign reporting.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable writing copy and basic HTML.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn more about sports gaming retention strategies.
Even better if you have
  • Experience with CRM platforms like Braze or Optimove.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Looker, Sigma, or similar.


Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $63,000 and $70,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
