Job requirements

    Job Summary:
    ·       The AWS Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing cloud-based projects utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution to delivery—ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Project Management:
    ·       Lead AWS cloud projects from initiation to closure.
    ·       Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
    ·       Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
    ·       Track milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
    ·       Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
    Technical Oversight:
    ·       Collaborate with cloud architects, engineers, and developers.
    ·       Ensure AWS infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable.
    ·       Use AWS tools (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS) for deployment and monitoring.
    ·       Review and optimize existing cloud infrastructure.
    Stakeholder Engagement:
    ·       Communicate project status to clients and internal stakeholders.
    ·       Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units.
    ·       Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers.
    Team Leadership:
    ·       Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members.
    ·       Conduct training sessions on AWS services and best practices.
    ·       Supervise staff and manage cross-functional teams.
    Compliance & Documentation:
    ·       Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
    ·       Maintain comprehensive documentation (plans, reports, updates).
    ·       Lead process improvement initiatives (e.g., onboarding, change management).
    Required Qualifications:
    ·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
    ·       3–10 years of experience in project management, preferably in AWS environments.
    ·       Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.
    ·       Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    ·       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    Preferred Certifications:
    ·       AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Cloud Practitioner
    ·       PMP (Project Management Professional)
    ·       ITIL / ITSM Certification
  • CSM (Certified ScrumMaster)
