Business Analyst – Data Strategy and Instrumentation

 

How you will LEAD:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a global enterprise-wide data migration to GA4. As a GA4 business analyst, you will be responsible for managing GA instrumentation requirements for a BI consumer fan platform and ensuring that all business use cases align with reporting solutions.  The Business Analyst will focus on ensuring data accuracy and governance policies are implemented as per business and compliance needs.

 

How you will CREATE:

                     Develop and maintain a robust list of business use cases across a global cross-functional team and frequently review procedures to support data quality.

                     Work with complex data sets and Big Data, measure data quality using defined rule sets and assessing processes to improve the evaluation of data quality procedures.

                     Use knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform to identify business rules and requirements for assessing the quality of data relative to business rules and previous trends.

                     Document data systems and process diagrams of a comprehensive data ingestion/flow from web to BI data lakes and reporting systems.

                     Manage and coordinate with business users to implement standard processes and capabilities across instances and territories.

                     Facilitate and ensure the necessary data validation steps are included for the completeness and accuracy of data.

                     Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)

                     Validate deployments across multiple environments and assist in troubleshooting when necessary.

                     Manage QA process for new and existing reporting products prior to launch.  Produce weekly status reports.

                     Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

                     Support global & central marketing teams in problem-solving platform issues to meet with stakeholder SLA requirements. 

 

Bring your VIBE:

                     Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field

                     5+ years’ experience as a business analyst in Digital Analytics Platforms with GA4 experience preferred. Familiarity with Google Marketing and tag management products (Search Console, GTM etc.) will be an added advantage.

                     Strong expertise in data management including data strategy, data quality, and data governance.

                     Proficiency with SQL, ability to write complex SQLs and use SQL to extract data from complex datasets.

                     Experience with ETL processes

                     Experience in Manual/Automation/API testing

                     Experience with data governance implementations; Ability to analyze, establish, and document data flows, data lifecycles, technical metadata, data lineage and business definitions of information models.

                     Experience with user policies, roles, and data security. Familiarity with consent management and concepts of privacy by design will be a plus.

                     Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills, sensitivity to critical deadlines, and the ability to operate in a self-guided manner in a high-pressure. fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
