About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to join the Wells Fargo Investment Institute Proxy Voting team. This team provides proxy voting services on behalf of Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) investment clients.
The consultant is responsible for business support and oversight of team processes, enhancing and evolving efficiencies, as well as reducing risks associated with voting proxies.

The consultant is responsible for business support and oversight of team processes, enhancing and evolving efficiencies, as well as reducing risks associated with voting proxies.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in and develop business support procedures needed to effectively and efficiently vote proxies in accordance with policy
- Identify and implement ways to increase efficiencies; reduce operational and implementation risks; and technologically enhance/automate processes and controls
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Compliance and third-party service providers as needed to develop, maintain, and evolve processes, controls, and best practices
- Present recommendations for and oversee implementation of evolving best practices to improve business functions and risk management
- Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in support of functions and operations for a single business group serving different lines of business
- Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
- 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Demonstrated experience in risk management, business controls development and implementation, and compliance oversight of investment functions
- Process-oriented mindset and related experience building and overseeing effective business processes
- Technological abilities needed to assess and advance evolving best practices in business support and efficient management and use of large data sets
- Desired technological skills include advanced Excel proficiency, data analytics and report generation and visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau), and familiarity with database management and tools, statistical software, and/or API Integrations
- Additional desired qualifications include familiarity with process enhancement and evolution using AI technologies
- Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.
