About the role:  

We are seeking a proactive self-starter to join our team in a Business Operations Manager, Procurement role. This position is crucial for driving organizational efficiency, and enhancing productivity while overseeing workflows, processes, and policies to enhance operational efficiency across the organization. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities, we want to hear from you. You will collaborate closely with all departments in the organization. 

You will: 

  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes and identify areas for enhancement to streamline operations and reduce costs.

  • Vendor Management: Build and nurture relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with agreements and expectations. 

  • Budgeting and Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance teams and business stakeholders to monitor spending, ensuring financial accountability with FPA across departments.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with teams such as IT, People, and Corporate Security to coordinate activities and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze data to create reports that provide insights into operational performance and inform decision-making.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure operations comply with relevant laws and internal policies while identifying and mitigating potential risks.

  • Training and Development: Assist in training staff on new processes and tools to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.

  • User Experience Management: Work to improve our team's satisfaction by streamlining processes that impact user interactions with our tools.

  • Project Management: Oversee various projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and objectives.

You have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in business operations, procurement, or similar role with negotiating experience.

  • Strong vendor management skills, including negotiation and expectation management.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage contracts and timelines effectively.

  • A motivation for tackling new challenges and problem-solving to improve processes.

  • Experience working in a dynamic startup environment and a knack for creative solutions.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on active listening.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Sheets/Excel and management systems relevant to operational processes.
