The Curriculum (Your Role):

The Seesaw Activity Library is a free resource of over 80,000 activities - accessible to teachers using Seesaw around the world. Teachers contribute activities to the library for all teachers to access and use. Activities contributed to the Community Library are approved, 1 by 1, before they are shared with our global teacher audience. As an Associate Content Moderator, you will manage activity approvals, rejections and general activity curation for the Seesaw Community Library.


Your Classmates (The Team):

This position is relatively autonomous. You will be trained by the Seesaw Community team and then will mostly work on your own. Additional projects will be shared over time with opportunities to collaborate with community team members and members of the Seesaw content team.

Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):

  • You will manage activity approvals and rejections for the Seesaw Community Activity Library.
  • You will assess individual activity contributions (contributed by teachers) based on a set of comprehensive guidelines.
  • You will be managing the approvals of thousands of activities a week.
  • You will curate community library homepages, including creating new activity collections, aggregating keywords, and determining featured authors based on themes/ holidays/ and high quality content.
  • New community team projects will become available over time.

Prerequisites (The Requirements):

  • Recent college education graduate or early in your career. Current or former educator / teacher.
  • Strong interest in education, teaching, lesson building, children’s media, educational content development, educational content moderation.
  • Familiarity with the lesson planning and building is required. You will need to assess lessons based on grade level, subject area, accessibility and quality.
  • Familiarity with the Seesaw app is preferred but not mandatory (This role will require familiarity with how Seesaw works but this can be trained).
