About the Team
We are seeking a results-oriented individual to join our award-winning Audience Development team as an International Associate Video Producer supporting Crunchyroll and popular anime properties such as Naruto, Black Clover, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- as well as Crunchyroll Originals like Tower of God and Onyx Equinox.

The Associate Producer will assist in video production for Crunchyroll social media channels from metadata, curation, and coordination - primarily focused on our International YouTube video output and results - to editing and ideation. This role requires experience with video production, familiarity with the YouTube platform and culture, and knowledge of seasonal anime content. The AP conceptualizes, edits, and publishes content on a daily basis in collaboration with our Global Audience Development Associate Manager and our International social media management teams. The ideal candidate can work independently, take direction, and has an interest in the anime fanbase.

About You:
- 2-4 years of experience in a corporate environment required
- Knowledge of Final Cut and/or Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Photoshop required
- Knowledge of Aegisub and/or subtitle file systems (*.ass/*.srt) highly preferred
- Demonstrated interest in anime fandom-oriented entertainment
- Demonstrated interest in YouTube and social media marketing
- Project management experience is preferred
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset and sense of curiosity
A day in the life of our International Associate Video Producer:
- Collaborate with domestic and international teams to select, cut, and deliver social media-first video content aiming to amplify top of funnel awareness and drive on-site for Crunchyroll’s simulcast and catalog content.
- Create custom video across social platforms from pitch to final delivery based on the needs of specific regional priorities, as well as, wider Crunchyroll marketing strategy.
- Help to improve asset management, guidelines, and results through optimizing processes in collaboration with the Global Audience Development Associate Manager.
- Drive constant iteration/improvement of our shoulder video content, employing new techniques, incorporating new trends and identifying successful video content from peers and competitors, to apply to existing strategy.
- Research, manage, and develop SEO-focused metadata sets to improve search volume on International YouTube channels.
- Understand daily analytics of social media channels to grow views, watch time, and clicks to O&O platforms.
- Understand the importance of the Crunchyroll company brand and the representation of content hosted on the platform and strive to ensure all assets adhere to strict intellectual property branding on YouTube and social media channels.
Key Measures of Success:
- Increased viewership and engagement on custom videos distributed on Youtube and social media.
- Increased attributable site traffic from International YouTube and social media channels.
- Regular experimentation with novel video styles and new social trends.
- Ability to maintain a high quality of work even under pressure.
