This role will help elevate our existing content and introduce creative new ideas to delight small business owners and self-employed professionals.In this role, you will develop and execute the content strategy for the Next Insurance blog and partnerships content. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in content marketing and a track record (with examples) of managing successful blogs.You should be equally comfortable analyzing data to develop content strategies, writing and editing blog content, providing feedback to freelance contributors, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.This remote position will be 20-30 hours per week. • Write and edit clear, engaging and meaningful blog and partnerships content that contributes to our business goals
• Manage the daily flow of new content, including updating editorial calendars, scoping assignments for contributors, editing content and providing feedback
• Work closely with our Channel Sales team and business partners to create content for campaigns and develop our content marketing strategy
• Continuously optimize existing content to improve performance and meet business goals
• Upload, review and publish content on our CMS
• Work with our creative and product teams to source photography and create an optimal user experience
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to introduce new ideas to drive business goals
• Write and edit on a daily basis
• Occasionally contribute to other marketing channels, including email campaigns, social media, PR.

 Desired Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience editing and writing blog content for a successful blog
• Well-versed in SEO best practices
• Ability to create content that simplifies unfamiliar topics and delights users
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of how content can influence customer experiences and purchase journeys
• Strong collaborator who partners to drive the best results for the company
• Attention to detail and ability to move quickly to edit and publish content
• Familiarity with AP style
