Your Impact:

Handshake is hiring a strategic, creative Corporate Social & Editorial Manager to engage our employer, university, and corporate audiences through social media and editorial content. Your goal will be to grow our pipelines and engagement with our brand among employers and higher education leaders, as well as attract top talent to Handshake. You’ll manage our LinkedIn, Twitter, corporate blog, and other corporate social platforms to raise brand awareness and increase Handshake’s category leadership.  You’ll envision and write compelling content that deeply engages our audiences, bringing Handshake’s brand, value, and impact to life.  You’ll curate and manage our corporate social channels, in partnership with our Employer, Education, and Talent teams.

Your Role:

  • Be the writer, editor, curator, and coordinator of corporate editorial content and social media channels
  • Translate company objectives into an editorial, content, and social-marketing strategy 
  • Partner with Content Marketing and Growth Marketing teams across the business to engage our social media audiences and encourage conversions and engagement
  • Own content calendar that will inspire and engage audiences throughout the year
  • Actively respond to and engage with our audiences or influencers
  • Increase # of social followers and drive new leads, complementing marketing efforts 
  • Leverage user insights to drive content and channel strategy
  • Create a wide range of content types in partnership with our brand design team: video, articles, social, and more
  • Have a “test and learn” mindset, quickly trying and validating content types
  • Measure, track, and optimize performance via data-driven decision-making
  • Build and optimize content creation and publishing processes

Your Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience with 2 years leading social and content channels
  • Experience targeting a range of audiences, ideally business (B2B) and consumer (B2C)
  • Exceptional writer, ideally with expertise engaging employer or higher ed audiences
  • Expertise using content marketing tools and platforms: CMS; social media mgt/listening
  • Experience creating many types of content: articles, video, short format, infographics
  • Able to measure, understand, and communicate the impact of content and social efforts
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Strong project skills; drive from insight to ideation to execution
  • Prior experience at a consumer technology, e-commerce or edtech company preferred
