Creative Producer, Brand Video & Multimedia (Contract)
The Cisco Meraki Creative Studio team is seeking a passionate and insightful Creative Producer to join our team and lead our multimedia program! The Creative Studio is a multi-disciplinary team of creatives working across marketing projects at Meraki– building our brand voice through collateral, promotional materials, video, web, webinars, events, advertising, digital campaigns, and product launches.
A Creative Producer should help bring our story to life through well-crafted audio and video content across all our channels and customer touchpoints. We are looking for a storytelling, problem-solving, curious, and collaborative team member who can think strategically about their work and produce impactful creative that helps our Marketing team achieve our goals with thoughtful experiences that are consistent with our core values. Our technology strives to simplify a notoriously complicated industry, and videos (demos, animation, narrative videos, advertising, interviews, etc.) are core to presenting our value to our audience.
Creative producers at Meraki should demonstrate a passion for great multimedia content and the discipline to define and document their approach in collaboration with other members of the Marketing team to build and scale our approach to videos to help us achieve a consistent brand voice globally.
Responsibilities include
- Working with writers, designers, marketing managers, PR, comms, product, strategists, and sales to articulate the value of Meraki to multiple audiences (customers, partners, internal collaborators, and others) through a variety of formats.
- Identify opportunities to use video to help tell the Meraki story through demos, animation, motion graphics, interviews, webinars, podcasts, live streaming, and other narrative formats.
- Guide the development and lead the production of video content for advertising, events (both live and virtual), marketing, internal teams, and more.
- Document and manage AV equipment as well as our in-house production studio space.
- Be able to mic, light, shoot, and edit impactful video content with a minimal crew.
- Review storyboards, produce, manage, and coordinate with our production partners and video vendors for larger productions.
- Help establish, enable, and maintain a consistent standard for Meraki video content in the form of style guides, playbooks, brand guidelines, and more.
- Act as a champion of brand standards and guidelines.
- Flying our drone. We have a drone.
- An understanding of live streaming, VR/AR, CGI animation, data visualization and/or music production would be a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising/Marketing, Creative Writing, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years experience writing at a tech company, marketing agency, video production company, or related experience.
- Portfolio that showcases excellence in audio/video production & creative thinking, as well as a clean and polished style with an eye for detail.
- Skilled at explaining your work, process, and decisions with an appetite for feedback to help you produce your best work.
- Very strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (After Effects, Premier Pro, Audition, Media Encoder) or equivalent. (Experience with OBS Studio or equivalent is a plus!)
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and to adjust to shifts in timelines, deadlines, budgets, and project goals.
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and in a cross-functional fast-paced team environment.
