Our Clinical Team excels in a fast paced environment, delivering wow level service externally and internally across all business channels while helping patients across the country every day (we hit one million patients last year). Our ability to engage with each patient while providing a personalized experience, which Lemonaid Health is known for, plays a pivotal role in patients choosing us as their preferred telehealth primary care provider.


This position is based in San Francisco, CA and reports to our Head of Patient Operations. This is NOT a remote position, but you’ll be working remotely until our offices reopen.

What you'll do

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances onboarding and overall retention
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify clinical and patient support team training needs
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • State instructional end-goals and create content that matches them
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders.

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years’ experience of instructional design, preferably in a medical setting
  • Experience creating impactful training materials that support adult learning styles
  • You have excellent communication skills across written, video and phones
  • You have solid computer and smartphone skills 
  • You’re detail oriented, organized, and have great multitasking skills. You take initiative and follow through while embracing change.
  • You strive to WOW your teammates by going above and beyond every day. 
  • You’re a team player! Teamwork and community is important to you. You work well with teammates and have great communication skills.
  • Communicate professionally, tactfully, and kindly while maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times
  • Please note: this is not a role for someone with a MD/DO/NP/RN license.
