About the Role

The Live Operations Management team exists to ensure every Caviar delivery goes as smoothly as possible. On demand food delivery is an incredibly difficult logistical challenge. By actively monitoring the logistical health of Caviar markets, navigating technical challenges and triaging with other teams we strive to make every diner experience remarkably unremarkable.

Caviar is looking for a Live Operations Specialist who will be responsible for the operational health of Caviar’s network every day, every hour that diners need us. As a Live Ops Specialist, your main goal is to maintain and improve the markets key metrics - hitting performance targets and resolving problems quickly while being ready to leap into action if an emergency arises. You’ll use just-in-time information to monitor individual markets, follow recommended prescribed actions, use predictive data to stay ahead of problems, and work cross-functionally to proactively address operational issues.

In order to succeed, you’ll learn the core job of balancing between order demand and courier supply to inform tactical decisions. You’ll operate in a highly autonomous environment which empowers you to drive direct impact on business health. Every day you’ll brainstorm, collaborate, and implement operational improvements and efficiencies.

• Collaborate closely with Caviar’s Operations teams to analyze and solve partner needs, communicate feedback to improve our tools and processes.

• Participate in high impact projects, constantly looking for ways to improve Caviar live operations
• Operate in a highly autonomous environment which empowers you to make decisions

We’re excited about you because…

• Are available to work flexible shift hours, including some weekend shifts
• 2+ years of professional work experience, preferably in Operations
• A proven ability to get things done, manage your time and prioritize for impact
• A knack for designing your efforts to scale through smart process and collaboration
• The judgment to operate autonomously while collaborating closely with others
• An ability to identify upstream blockers and prioritize solutions
• A drive to consistently deliver results and exceed expectations
• A strategic-thinking mentality and a hunger to learn
• You're a motivated team member with an entrepreneurial mindset and a bias to action
• BA/BS preferred (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience managing metrics, KPIs, and OKRs (plus)
• A deep love of amazing food, restaurants, and the desire to consistently provide an exceptional experience to stakeholders and customers, both internally and externally
