Principal Content Architect
Responsibilities
Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand the technical product requirements
Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
Work with product & project managers, data analytic, and engineers to produce and maintain world-class documentation, including: User Guides, Integration Guides, Operations Runbook, In platform documentation (tooltips, welcome instructions, etc.), Code snippets, navigation links.
Evaluate and redesign Confluence to cater to the needs and requirements to support documents and knowledge base libraries for Carrier & Data Center Operations organization.
Design and implement a dedicated workflow within Jira to support, manage and track operations relating to data center deployments, telco provisioning, carrier escalations, and special projects.
Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet service release dates and client deliverables.
Maintain a library of service documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use.
Learn complex concepts, and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and
understood by users.
Gather customer feedback on documentation to improve usability.
Collaborate with data and cost analytic teams to develop cost models and analytical tools to
provide leadership and stakeholders with usable accurate information to make informed decisions.
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field
Worked as Technical Writer for multiple Technology product rollouts aimed for enterprise class
engineering community.
Strong Solution architect background would be preferred.
7+ years of experience required in an IT or Engineering environment.
Experience in creating documentation for audiences with different levels of technical skill.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
Ability to read some programming code
Experience in presenting technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training,
presentations, or video conference.
Project Management, Influencing and problem solving skills, Git, Web Design
Excellent written communication skills, with emphasis in written English
Technical Writing, Confluence, Jira, Python, Tableau, Business Analysis experience is desired
