Senior Brand Copywriter, B2C
Grammarly offers a remote-first hybrid working model. Team members can work primarily remotely. Teams will meet in person every quarter in one of Grammarly’s hubs, currently in San Francisco, Vancouver, New York, and Kyiv. To ensure that teams are able to overlap in their working hours and to meet face-to-face when needed, all team members need to live within three time zones of their direct team.
The opportunity
Grammarly empowers people to thrive and connect, whenever and wherever they communicate. Every day, 30 million people and 30,000 teams around the world use our AI-powered writing assistant. All of this begins with our team collaborating in a values-driven and learning-oriented environment.
To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for an experienced copywriter and editorial leader to join our Brand team. This role will lead Grammarly’s efforts in developing and writing best-in-class materials to support Grammarly’s B2C and core brand marketing efforts. In close partnership with stakeholders across the Design and Marketing teams, they will strategize, develop, and review copy across channels—including emails, landing pages, ads, and other content aimed at Grammarly’s consumer audience. The Senior Brand Copywriter will also manage copy responsibilities and participation in cross-channel marketing campaigns.
Your impact
As an expert in strong brand copy, you’ll ensure that Grammarly delivers consistent, high-quality brand moments across all consumer touchpoints. You’ll be a voice for accurate and compelling product expressions throughout Grammarly’s brand ecosystem, and you’ll provide editorial management for projects that span channels and collateral.
- Within your first 30 days, you’ll become immersed in Grammarly’s brand strategy, our style guide, and the product ecosystem we deliver to consumers. You’ll meet with central stakeholders on the Design and Marketing teams to discuss copy and marketing best practices. You’ll meet with our team of copywriters and editors to explore our current tactics, aptitudes, and opportunities.
- By month three, you’ll be an expert on brand-forward copy at Grammarly. You’ll take on significant content creation projects for B2C and core Grammarly audiences, and you’ll have enough knowledge to help the Brand team optimize processes.
- By month six, you’ll be managing the B2C copywriting and editorial needs for cross-channel projects. As a central member of Grammarly’s full-service Copy team, you’ll manage workflows and deliver high-impact copy for stakeholders across the Marketing team—from website microcopy to long-form blog posts.
- By year one, you will be a voice for brand-forward copy creation at Grammarly throughout our brand ecosystem, and you’ll execute larger campaigns focused on Grammarly’s expanding brand footprint across international audiences.
