DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a technical writer with analytical skills. The Technical Writer will be responsible for carrying out analysis of technical content and designing and producing customer/external facing reports. This individual must have excellent communication skills be adept at communicating technical information to a non-technical audience.

This role requires you to work closely with the research team and under minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity to work within a talented team with a track record of publishing ground-breaking research and presenting at conferences.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Analysis of technical content
  • Designing and producing customer facing reports and presentations
  • Assembling technical publications and articles
  • Reviewing written correspondence and artifacts to ensure final delivery is understandable to a first-time reader who possesses little knowledge of the subject
  • Conducting research on non-technical topics
  • Adapting security research to create several types of content suited to different audiences

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Awareness of current security threat scape
  • Awareness of offensive/defensive security techniques
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office
  • 5+ years of demonstratable experience in technical and non-technical writing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical materials and issues to a non-technical audience
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Can work in a collaborative manner with minimum supervision
  • Ability to successfully manage personal timelines and work schedule across multiple tasks
  • A desire to expand skillset to include technical analysis
