The Instructor/Sr. Instructor is part of an exciting team that is creating and delivering our course offerings to our customers and partners. The position supports our Sage Intacct Financial application so ideally you should have a strong command of Accounting concepts and processes. As a top-notch instructor, you are able to teach to diverse audiences by both face-to-face delivery and via the web in the virtual classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instructor-led training sessions on the web in the virtual classroom, and in our classrooms for Intacct customers and partners
• Act as a SME in support our Instructional Designers in developing training material for accountants and administrators on system usage. Update course materials for new releases.
• Keep Intacct product knowledge current, keeping up to date with new features as versions are released. Teach new feature seminars.
• Incorporate industry best practices and techniques from a training and learning standpoint
• Engage in special projects to support the Education team's business processes and tools

Requirements:

• 3-5 years solid experience in a functional training role in a software application company or corporation with emphasis on financial and accounting software. Ideal candidate will have experience implementing or configuring accounting software system.
• Strong presentation, training and group facilitation skills; familiar and competent with audience-engagement methods and techniques appropriate for all types of audiences, including virtual classroom delivery
• Previous experience with the following applications is an advantage: QuickBooks, MS Dynamics GP or SL or other financial management applications.
• Experience delivering multi-day courses supported with hands-on activities required.
• Some travel will be required to customer sites as well as regional training centers
• Location: San Jose, CA (headquarters) or Remote location (easily accessible to major airport)
