About the Role

At Kraken, you will work closely with a passionate Growth Marketing team tasked with delivering innovative products that can successfully onboard the next generation of crypto enthusiasts. 

Ideal candidates will infuse professional writing skills with a deep understanding of technical and fundamental trading, as well as finance more generally. Candidates should be well versed in how exchanges work and the types of trading tools available in more advanced markets. 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for working closely on client-facing content essential to growing the Kraken client base and maintaining our brand reputation as an expert leader in crypto.

Responsibilities

• In Your First 30 Days




• Get to know the Kraken team, the brand and the competitive space
• Learn the Growth team structure and identify strengths and weaknesses
• Adapt to current workflows, project management and existing brand language
• Begin producing educational content




• In Your First 90 Days




• Help develop a roadmap for Kraken trading and finance content
• Identify new opportunities for educational content within existing offerings
• Manage/monitor feedback loop to improve educational offerings 
• Work with Growth team to maximize client onboarding 

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in education and/or business and technical writing
• Comfortable working in a remote setting
• Deep understanding of markets, trading & financial terminology
• Experience writing educational content about markets and trading 
• Professional writing experience a must
• Strong writing, grammar and editing skills
• Ability to distill complex topics into simple, concise messaging
• A working knowledge of SEO and how it applies to technical writing

Nice to have

• Experience in building online educational tools or programs 
• Familiarity with online project management tools such as Wrike/Jira/Asana
• Interest in finance and emerging technologies (crypto a plus)
• Past work optimizing editorial product for mobile/desktop environment
