Good writing is essential to creating a good customer experience. As a Technical Writer, you will translate complex user workflows into easily digestible steps. Core to this function is partnering with cross-functional leads to write and update help center queries and FAQs. You will need to develop a deep understanding of Quantcast products, diving into setup nuances at a granular level, to help support our self-service business.

Responsibilities

  • Identify user needs, use cases and metrics to focus priorities
  • Write, publish and maintain high-quality help content and user interface (UI) messaging
  • Create helpful and scalable technical and product documentation
  • Organize information in an easy-to-understand hierarchy, transforming the most complex ideas into simple ones
  • Ensure documents are technically and mechanically accurate, and consistent with regard to clarity, flow, organization, completeness, and readability
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Product Marketing and UX designers

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in technical writing
  • Digital advertising experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalist Technical Writing, or a related field
  • Experience working closely with engineering and product management teams
  • Experience in content management systems and/or help tools, ex. Zendesk, Pendo
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to QA own work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Passion for providing a great user experience
