Step is looking for a Video Editor to lead the production of all video material including App/Product content, social media, financial education content and customer support content. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and creative with a deep understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Snap and TikTok. As the Video Editor Lead, you will work closely with creators, our customers and cross-functionally to bring our brand to life through video. You will use your creativity to add personality and humor to content. You will be instrumental in how we define, shape and expand the Step Brand amongst Gen-Z. 

Responsibilities

• Create high quality, entertaining short videos for the Step App, the Step website, social media, marketing materials and other engagement channels.
• Work closely with the Growth Team on performance marketing efforts, iterating and improving creative. 
• Edit content from creators into short, entertaining videos.
• Create title sequences, FX, animations, etc. for video content.
• Help direct, provide guidance/feedback to content creators, to increase the quality of the videos they produce.

About You

• +2 years of experience creating high quality content for brands or products.
• Demonstrate a high level of creativity and ability to bring your unique personality to video content.
• Can create high quality content quickly and iteratively.
• Deeply understand TikTok, Snap, Instagram and YouTube, plus the type of content that works best on each platform.
• Has experience directing talent, editing raw footage, filming high quality video, and doing post production work to polish final content.
