Responsibilities of the role:

The VP of Class Creation is responsible for overseeing the quality of core class content creation and management of the departments - Development and Creative -  charged with delivering compelling MasterClasses.  Critical to this role are business acumen; multi-level management; cross functional collaboration with Product and Marketing; and partnership with the Content Operations, Content Production and Content Post Production departments to optimize planning and processes and deliver on company goals.  This position will lead inclusively and strategically at the intersection of art and commerce while cultivating a culture of excellence, collaboration and growth. 

What we are looking for:

• Excellent track record at multiple levels of creating and delivering premium, long form video content (45+ mins) 
• Excellent management track record for developing and guiding careers
• Proven strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and guide the team that assesses and meets instructors where they are on their journey to inform strategic approach to development, production and post planning
• High level written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal communication skills to liaise between various departments, administrators and instructor teams
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating teaching strategies and instructional materials to develop the appropriate curriculum direction
• Experience with consumer data and insights informing approach to content creation
• Demonstrated ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues, team members and stakeholders both internally and externally 
• Ability to embrace and lead through ambiguity
• Ability to demonstrate growth mindset approach to learning in their career 
• Added plus if prior pedagogical experience 

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience creating premium content for film, television, branded content and/or advertising 
• Degree in Film, Television or related field preferable

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Available to travel up to 30% of time
