Buzz Solutions is seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager (CSM) with deep roots in the utility industry and proven success in a startup environment!

As a Customer Success Manager (CSM), you will play a crucial role in owning post sales customer relationships, driving option, ensuring long-term customer value, and serving as an advisor to our utility partners. You will act as a bridge between partners, engineering, product, and sales.The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to contribute to the success of Buzz Solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end post sale customer experience, serving as the primary point of contact for our electric utility customers and partners.
  • Proactively identify, position, and close expansion opportunities by leveraging product adoption, usage data, customer outcomes, and new use cases.
  • Drive deep engagement within our Buzz Solutions platform, ensuring customers are realizing ongoing ROI that supports expansion and long-term retention.
  • Advocate for customers and their needs to influence product advancement.
  • Identify At Risk customers that are not achieving their desired outcome and as needed, lead efforts to get those customers back on track.
  • Organize training sessions, product deep dives, and enable efforts to ensure our customers gain the best experience within our platform.  

Qualifications:

  •  10+ years of experience in a SaaS Customer Success role.  
  • Experience in the technology sector, particularly with AI or utilities, is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Basic understanding of AI technology and its applications in the electric utility industry. A willingness to quickly learn and stay current with our solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and contribute to a positive team environment.

Buzz Solutions safeguards the world’s energy infrastructure by providing AI-based actionable insights and predictive analytics for power line and energy infrastructure inspections. We are disrupting the power utility industry by providing automation for inspection and maintenance operations for infrastructure, using our AI-powered software platform, and are a venture-funded startup looking for great talent to share our vision of energy industry transformation. Our solutions and technology allows the utilities to reduce current inspection operation costs by at least 50%, prevent power outages, prevent wildfires and manage their assets in an effective way. You will be working with a talented, passionate and hardworking team of engineers and product/project managers to build end-to-end Machine Learning products and pipelines that will be deployed for our customers in order to prevent issues such as power outages, forced shutdowns, impact of climate change on the aging grid infrastructure and preventing wildfires.
