Job Description

Are you passionate about transforming manufacturing processes through data-driven insights and leading innovative Business Intelligence (BI) projects on a global scale?
 

Join our Business Intelligence group dedicated to manufacturing to lead global data-driven projects. Improve production efficiency and support LEGO factories with the latest analytics solutions. Promote innovation and excellence throughout our global operations.
 

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage local reporting and analytical projects, overseeing backlog, timelines, and costs while coordinating project teams including external consultants and local BI analysts.
  • Drive productivity projects with a focus on data optimization, analyzing business situations to identify gaps and opportunities, and estimating delivered value and required effort.
  • Support capability building in the LEGO Virginia Organization through coaching to local BI support roles and increasing data literacy through training sessions and workshops. 
  • Facilitate communication with factory leadership, ensuring business leaders are informed about project progress from mid-level managers to the General Manager.
  • Contribute to global BI projects, collaborating with BI Business Partners from other factories and sharing best practices within our global BI community.
  • Support the LEGO Continuous Improvement (LCI) department activities, focusing on maturing the LVA organization in their LCI journey.

The BI Manufacturing team delivers reporting and analytical solutions across the LEGO factories globally. We drive the BI journey areas across all our factories, supporting our production, maintenance and logistics areas. We are part of the Manufacturing organization as end-users from an IT perspective, and our mission is to make Manufacturing a data-driven organization.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Data Engineering areas either as analyst, engineer or product manager.
  • Sophisticated Microsoft PowerBI and SQL skills.
  • Experience with either Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services in using and building data services.
  • Experience with Power Apps or other low-code/no-code platforms.

No relocation will be provided

Travel: minimal travel abroad will be required

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $81,810.00 - $122,716.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
