Business Analyst, Shopper Relations
OVERVIEW
Our Operations team is seeking an analyst focused on shopper insights and important metrics to support improvement of the shopper experience.
About our Community Operations Team: In the spirit of Going Far, Together, the Community Ops team is dedicated to providing shoppers with a solid support network passionate about community, pride, and work satisfaction. The team will achieve these goals by acting as a voice for shoppers while standing up and maintaining programming focused on learning, recognition and connection with one another and Instacart.
Highlights: This role will drive the continued improvement of our shopper experience. By developing quantitative and data-based business cases to support new or existing initiatives. Using actual data, as well as benchmarking and qualitative input from other teams and shoppers, this team will build an Instacart that shoppers love and in turn customers love!
ABOUT THE JOB
- You will dedicate a large portion of your time working with shoppers - whether in focus groups or in town halls, you will be focused on listening to and communicating with shoppers.
- You will maintain and develop dashboards and tools to assist with the Community Operations and Shopper Relations teams
- You will help implement shopper relations programs across multiple verticals including required communications as well as implementation of creative shopper relations activities.
- You will partner with our Regional Operations teams to gather on-the-ground information on the needs of our shoppers locally as well as on understanding local shopper sentiment.
- You will project manage company wide initiatives developed to help move shopper engagement metrics.
- You will build scalable playbooks and programs that can be implemented across all of our stores across the US & Canada.
- You will advocate for shoppers as well as business needs while championing Instacart’s values.
- You will collaborate with other teams to engage shopper champions as advocates.
- You will work closely with Legal as you strategize and run operations programs.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of related work experience in retail management, operations management, or start-up management
- Strong communication and project management skills to direct multiple teams against a launch
- Rich history of cross-functional influence
- Agility and comfort with data to turn ambiguous situations into concrete recommendations
- Relentless hustle: Willing go above and beyond to deliver results
- Desire to learn and make each launch better than the last
- Strong analytical skills-proven capabilities in Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools, e.g., Periscope, Tableau, etc. (SQL preferred)
