We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our rapidly growing team!

As an analyst, you will draw on your business acumen and analytical abilities to enable and evangelize data-informed decision making and business intelligence in every part of the company.

As a member of the Data Science team, you excel in a fast-paced, self-starting environment. You are self-driven, naturally curious, and highly logical - someone who can understand complex business problems, discuss a rigorous approach, and provide clear recommendations. You have exceptional collaboration and communication skills, and can work across teams to discover opportunities and influence decisions with data. You have the technical chops to drive change through data insights; you know how to plow through data with SQL and Tableau, surface insights using visualizations, and measure the business impact using efficiency/conversion/profit metrics.

This position reports to our Manager of Data Science and is a particularly good fit for someone interested in joining a fast-growing startup and helping it scale, drawing on and expanding the breadth of their proficiencies alongside the development of the company.

If this sounds like a match, we’d love to hear from you! This is a full-time on-site position located in Oakland, California.

  • Experience driving cross-functional process improvements
  • Experience with Python or other general purpose programming language.
  • Self-starter and quick learner. We need people who value being part of a team, but also can get things done on their own.
