Sage Intacct, voted best workplaces in the bay area for 9 consecutive years, is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our BI Team. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of our BI systems. You will be working closely with business users, the data source team, and department data analysts to support the ongoing development of an enterprise-wide BI platform. You'll be designing and implementing the architecture, tools, and processes needed to provide the "single source of truth" reports to support data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be a skilled analyst who is passionate about business intelligence, comfortable working in an agile environment, and embraces the opportunity to connect with customers to define and shape our solutions. The candidate we are looking for should have a strong knowledge of Tableau, Oracle, and star-schema methodology.

• Develop and maintain standardized, dashboards, metrics, KPIs and reports using sales, marketing, accounting and customer usage data
• Establish processes for data reconciliation to ensure data quality and report accuracy
• Partner with finance, sales and marketing teams to gain a rich understanding of business processes, analytics and reporting needs and gaps
• Ensure a high level of data quality and data integrity
• Proactively research business problems and develop solutions to allow proper decision making
• Maintain the quality of metadata repository and data dictionary
• Ensure data presentation and delivery in secure and in compliance with company policies
• Provide tier 1 support of BI reporting tools across all lManipulate and analyze large data sets to distill insights from data trends and forecasts

Requirements:

• Skilled with Tableau data sources, reports, and data visualization. Salesforce Einstein is a plus
• Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-starter attitude. You're someone who can approach business problems proactively
• Service mindset. Your customer has the highest priority
• Strong SQL skills
• Ability to debug and fix production/existing issues
• Understanding of Finance terminology/methodologies is a plus
• Experience with data scripting and development platforms (python, ruby, PHP, etc.) is a plus
• BS/BA, in the Computer Science area, MS in Computer Science is a plus
