Unity is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to lead a newly created Business Intelligence function within our growing global core Sales Operations team. You will be responsible for working with the Data Engineering team to structure the data pipelines and create the necessary data aggregations to support automated and scalable sales data insights and reporting needs. In addition to building out the necessary data aggregations, you will be building the scalable dashboards to support Sales and Executive leadership that will guide decision making and answer the hard questions. Your day-to-day will consist of building data pipelines and dashboards, running ad-hoc reports, digging into issues, finding opportunities to improve operational efficiency and being a general go-to person for the Core Sales organization. 

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, identifying data sources, developing ETLs, designing and delivering dashboards, and performing ad hoc analyses
• Aggregating and joining data from multiple sources (HR system, multiple instances of Salesforce, internal licensing system) and preparing for easy extraction into front end dashboard visualization tools or spreadsheets
• Providing data documentation in an easily understood way to both technical and non-technical parts of the business
• Supporting the design and implementation of BI tools to be used across the company, specifically Looker
• Understanding complex business questions and challenges and relating them to the data
• Building out core analytics to drive sales effectiveness and improvement (attrition analyses, rep productivity, rep ramping analytics, TAM models, expansion rates, churn analysis, linearity models, predictive forecasts, etc) 
• Exploring our data sets to identify and investigate new avenues for data investigation and exploration and building the processes, practices and foundation for Business Intelligence that will provide the backbone to support the next 10-15 years of hyper growth

Requirements

• Advanced expertise in SQL (BigQuery a plus) and experience developing and maintaining ETLs 
• Experience with data visualization, dashboarding and analytical report building (Looker, Periscope, Tableau or similar)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a wide audience, as well as translate sometimes ambiguous data requests into clear action items and requirements
• Ability to lead your projects through all phases including identifying user requirements, technical design & implementation, and final delivery and refinement with stakeholders
• Strong experience synthesizing large amounts of data to extract meaningful insights and then translating those insights into actionable recommendations for leadership
