Finix is unique in the market. We build payments infrastructure for vertically-focused software companies (think restaurant, yoga studio and winery software) and fintech providers so they can own and monetize payments without the heavy lift of building complex systems from scratch or relying entirely on disjointed third-party services. As a member of the Business Strategy and Operations team, you will play an integral role in developing analytics used to support Finix’s growth and drive decisions. As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will deep dive into ambiguous and complex business issues and deliver insights for Finix teams and Senior Leadership.

Working with our Director of Business Operations, you will lead in prioritizing and developing new metrics and dashboards, and provide analytical insights to influence Finix’s day-to-day operations. This position is a great opportunity to work for a growing Fintech company and to own and drive the analytical insights critical for the growth of Finix.

You Will:

• Report a suite of KPIs to leadership on a monthly and quarterly cadence - highlighting trends and providing context and recommendations around opportunities and threats to the business
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that monitor and influence key business decisions
• Drive the Business Intelligence roadmap; prioritizing business insight requests to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of Finix
• Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics for the company and enable internal teams to improve performance using analytics
• Identify opportunities to improve our data infrastructure, synthesize requirements to the Data Engineering team, and enable stakeholders to surface new insights

You Are:

• Capable of thinking across multiple dimensions of the business (Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, etc.)
• A strong collaborator who excels at working cross-functionally to deliver results
• An excellent communicator with a service-oriented and business partnering approach
• Proactive, independent, and self-motivated with the initiative to research information, solve problems and get things done

You Have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics developing complicated analysis and creating advanced dashboards in Business Intelligence / Visualization tools (Tableau, Sisense, Looker, Mode, etc.)
• Strong analytical foundation and data-driven approach to understanding a business
• Ability to communicate with and influence both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prototype rapidly, iterate quickly and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for finding insights in data and driving change based on those insights
• Experience in data warehousing, dimensional data modeling and tools like DBT is a plus.
