About the Role

We are seeking a Manager of Business Operations and Project Management, based in either our New York City or San Francisco office. This role will drive and manage a cross-functional group that drives strategic initiatives across marketing, product, engineering, data science and other departments within Figure Lending. Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams. Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collects data to identify the root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements. A partner to the senior leadership at Figure focusing on high-impact strategic projects and data analyses.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, manage, and oversee the activities of Figure’s Business Operations team; ensure the team’s strategy, projects and goals align with Figure Lending’s broader vision. 
• Lead efforts to structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems for the Figure leadership team.
• Drive initiatives to analyze large amounts of information and data quickly and effectively, to reduce complexity and make actionable recommendations for Figure. 
• Steer large, cross-functional projects and build consensus with senior leadership across the organization; contribute to strategic planning and driving delivery on top priorities across multiple stakeholders 
• Develop and utilize frameworks to structure the team’s thinking, drive visibility, and facilitate alignment.
• Manage to centralize the repository of processes and improve processes to minimize complexities and optimize to promote effective operations.
• Identify and pursue cost reduction opportunities.
• Establish a structure and cadence of program and function reviews to increase visibility, drive alignment, and resolve blockers.
• Develop strategic change and drive change management and business transformation efforts.
• Select, develop, and evaluate Business Operations personnel. 

What We Look For

• BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience; MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred
• 8+ years of experience leading complex strategic and operational initiatives, within management consulting or a high growth tech company
• Exceptional and demonstrated project and program management skills 
• Someone with strong intellectual curiosity and great data skills
• Solid analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Passion to do whatever it takes to solve complex problems and build scalable processes.
• Comfortable working in a high growth, constantly changing environment.
