Job Description
Business Operations Analyst
Come join the Servicenow Business Operations team. We promote solid execution and fact-based decision-making across the organization and act as the connective tissue that links all aspects of the organization seamlessly to drive revenue growth and operational excellence for the company. Our Business Operations team works together to ensure our operating model, investment plan and portfolio are designed and implemented to deliver against the defined strategy. You will work alongside fellow Business Operations counterparts, as well as cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Finance, Program Management, Operations, and IT to drive forward various initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring initiatives achieve their objectives and key results on schedule and reporting progress against these objectives to senior leadership. Below are the detailed responsibilities for this role:
What You'll Do
- Manage execution efforts in partnership with our operational, product, and cross-functional teams to ensure achievement of strategic initiative outcomes.
- Own project plan for cross-functional efforts and help define the project and program objectives, outcomes, and key success measures
- Develop and implement best practices across operating processes and teams
- Drive process improvement and effectiveness including troubleshooting operational issues as they arise
- Collect data input and conduct analysis to form recommendations and mitigation plan for the areas of potential risks and issues
- Create frameworks to help structure the team’s thinking, drive visibility, and facilitate alignment
- Work closely with leaders across the organization to develop goals, objectives, and key results; develop systems for managing performance against those goals
- Support day to day operations and delivering on strategy and operational plans from the planning process against the organizational strategic priorities
- Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence
Qualifications
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science or related field; MBA preferred, but not required
- 2-4 years related work experience in managing programs across Product, Engineering, Sales, Business Operations, Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Go-to-Market or interlinked functions, ideally in the software industry
- Can drive interlock across BU, Sales, and other GTM functions for offers during incubation, accelerate, and scale stages
- Strong strategy, planning, organizational and multitasking skills
- Aptitude and ability to turn data into insights & actions
- A problem solver with the ability to identify solutions to complex business issues
- Must be self-managed, responsive and able to work in a virtual team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint & Excel
- Intellectual curiosity, hands-on mentality, and phenomenal attention to detail
