We’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and experienced Compensation Analyst to join us in building the team here at Nextdoor. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment and get excited about creating and implementing global rewards programs. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely and cross-functionally with managers to build strategic rewards programs including salaries, variable pay and equity packages
  • Build and maintain accurate market based research around the world and across a range of disciplines
  • Imagine and craft tools for leaders to manage and implement their compensation budgets
  • Partner with Finance, Business Operations, Information Technology and the People Team to integrate compensation programs with corporate infrastructure
  • Provide strategic input across the People Team including Recruiting, People Operations, Benefits and Wellness programs

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years experience managing compensation strategy and implementation for a consumer-facing technology company; 
  • Experience managing equity programs in a pre-IPO company environment that is scaling rapidly
  • Comfortable with sales compensation including benchmarking and incentive design
  • Passionate about the Nextdoor mission
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent with Excel
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
