About this role

We are looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to support our compensation initiatives including new hire compensation packages, annual planning cycles, benchmarking, and other ad-hoc analysis. This role will execute on day-to-day compensation matters and contribute to the evolution of our compensation philosophy and programs. The position will work closely with partners across the People team and the business to align our compensation with Faire’s mission and values.

What you’ll do 

  • Conduct market analysis to ensure our compensation structures and practices remain competitive for the markets we operate in.
  • Partner with recruiters to provide direction, review, and approval for new hire offer packages.
  • Support our major compensation planning cycles including modeling, training, and reporting.
  • Serve as the owner of our market data including job analysis, validating job matches, and completing all salary survey submissions.
  • Design and build compensation metrics, reports, and tools to support compensation decisions and/or projects as we continue to scale.
  • Maintain and ensure integrity of compensation data and structures in internal systems.
  • Stay abreast of and report out on changing trends, regulations, and other issues related to global compensation. 
  • Partner with the broader People team to support analyses and work on special initiatives related to improving our organization as a whole.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and communicate complex information in a clear, concise manner across a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple assignments in a timely and flexible manner.
  • Familiarity with stock options, RSU’s, and other equity offerings.
  • Advanced experience in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
