About the Role

• Manage a high volume of small to medium sized strategic sourcing projects falling in the Services subcategories of Advisory Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Facilities, Construction, Staffing, Contingent labor, Financial Services etc. 
• Collaborate and build relationships across a number of internal business stakeholders; serve as a brand ambassador for the Sourcing & Procurement team within the organization and to the DoorDash supplier community
• Lead execution of projects across the entire sourcing lifecycle: identification of needs, spend analysis, supplier market analysis, RFx/sole source, scorecard development, pricing analysis and cost modelling, commercial negotiations, finalization of MSAs and SOWs
• Manage stakeholder expectations through lifecycle of sourcing projects, contribute to strategy development of engagements, effectively communicate status and results of projects across the organization including to key stakeholders to senior management, and to suppliers
• Optimize delivery of value including savings with risk management and speed of execution
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct supplier business reviews, identify cost reduction and value-add opportunities 
• Serve as an internal point of contact for supplier management and complaint resolution
• Actively seek ways to streamline business processes
• Research and share industry category trends and best practices

We’re excited about you because you…

• Have 5+ years of services strategic sourcing/procurement experience including in one or more subcategories:  Advisory Services, Business Process Outsourcing, Facilities, Construction, Staffing, Contingent labor, Financial Services etc. 
• Have 5+  years of experience with contract negotiations and supplier management
• Willing to learn and execute sourcing events across ALL Services subcategories on Day 1
• Are a collaborator – You can build relationships with and motivate people at all levels and job functions inside and outside of the company
• Are a problem solver – You can independently translate a high-level Procurement vision into actionable plans
• Are are a relentless operator – You roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to execute at the lowest level of detail
• Are a Self-starter – You are naturally curious and have a bias towards action
• Are analytical – You let data win arguments and uncover opportunity areas
