Data Analysts on the Risk & Payments Team are responsible for producing roadmaps and analysis to support the growth and scale of Wish’s risk and payments platform to stimulate business growth while mitigating risk. This position will work with product managers within the department and the company to focus on key deliverables such as the development of fraud detection and account recovery programs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Generate insights from our petabyte-scale database using SQL
  • Paint a picture of the business through Tableau dashboards, and ensure delivery of data through Apache Airflow
  • Apply your statistical knowledge to run robust A/B tests to understand the impact of new products and features
  • Build business decisions with a variety of supervised learning models- regression, decision trees, random forest etc.
  • Work cross-functionally and collaborate with payments engineering, product, policy and operations to deliver impactful results to support business growth

Who You Are:

  • 3-5 years of program management or product analyst experience
  • 2+ years in eCommerce, social networks, or payment-related business lines
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Hands on experience building and analyzing data using SQL
  • Able to write code, preferably Python
  • An understanding of payments compliance, loyalty programs, and building processes in fast-paced environments
  • Strong ability identifying new growth opportunities and defining key performance metrics, setting up related experiments and analyzing with A/B frameworks
  • Proven track record collaborating with internal/ external stakeholders and developing roadmaps
  • A self-starter, able to explore and build with limited supervision
  • Contribute to the long and short term Risk & Payments product roadmap
  • Passionate, can do attitude.
  • Not afraid to try, learn, and improve, ability to work in a fast paced team environment
