Job Description
Director, Quality Engineering
- Lead end to end quality engineering competency for Service Now AI organization
- Exercise leadership for all quality activities within your team of Quality Engineers including Test Planning, Design, Execution, Review, Reporting and Monitoring across multiple different geographic sites
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that focus on product quality
- Set and oversee strategic goals for your product domains/areas and execute against plans
- Create and track against quality metrics focusing on continuous improvement
- Drive software quality end to end while focusing on great customer experiences
- Build quality into the product leveraging performance and test automation tools such as Jmeter, Selenium Webdriver, Appium and Test Cafe
- Collaborate with best of breed testers, developers and designers on a web-based platform where you can leverage your customer focused testing and programming skills
- Participate in design, development, and delivery of all new web based UI components.
- Contribute in all phases of software development including requirements gathering / definition, product design, development, testing, delivery, and support, etc. with a lead from the front mentality
- Work with and drive teams across geographic sites and time-zones with some traveling as appropriate
Qualifications
Qualifications for the role
- Over 10 years professional experience in quality assurance or application development.
- Demonstrated team and senior management leadership experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience in ML/AI field is highly preferred
- Combination of dev/QE experience in AI technologies
- Ability to understand/articulate nuances of AI testing
- Ability to build and grow teams in distributed locations
- SaaS/Enterprise software experience
- Ability to lead the design and development of test automation
- Experience with database technologies like MySQL and operating systems such as Linux
