Unity is the creator of the world’s most widely-used real-time 3D (RT3D) development platform. Over 3.5B games and applications made with Unity are downloaded every month. Unity is powering RT3D in over 50% of all games and also in architecture, automotive, construction, engineering, film, energy, and more. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as a thought leader across Finance, IR and & analytics teams for the use of data and analytics to drive critical business decisions and strategy 
  • Design, plan and manage cross-functional project teams
  • Serve as a coach/mentor for team members and develop the team’s technical/business skills through strategic projects with individual growth trajectories in mind
  • Define, monitor and analyze key business metrics weekly/monthly/quarterly. Provide results through, reporting, dashboards, and other reporting processes with a focus on efficiencies and automation
  • Communicate effectively at the detailed, technical level and have the ability to elevate for high-level consumption by executives
  • Collaborate with business partners and drive commitment to high-quality data, access, and consistency in KPI reporting
    • Work with the financial planning team to develop longer-term financial strategies and plans
    • Partner with the Chief Revenue Officer, Sales Operations and FP&A Sales leadership to deliver actionable insights that drive investment allocations and operational initiatives 
    • Partner with the AI and data teams to evolve our Core product strategies
    • Partner with data engineering to assess and develop business intelligence processes, tools, and a company-wide data infrastructure
    • Partner with Investor Relations to develop metrics and reporting for external reporting/disclosure
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market/industry trends and competitive dynamics of existing/new business opportunities

Requirements 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in some combination of data analytics, financial planning & analysis, management consulting, investment banking, and/or private equity
  • BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or related
  • Strategic thinker with excellent business judgment who has a passion for tackling complex, financial/operational data and modeling
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analyses into executive-level insights and recommendations
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint, SQL a plus
