The Forecasting and Analytics Manager will focus on developing and maintaining the forecast for in-line products and provide analytic support to a broad audience at GRAIL. The candidate must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment with high expectations on quality of deliverables. You Will:
- Oversee and manage continued development of US commercial short- and mid-term demand forecast across all US in-line products
- Develop and maintain multi-year patient-level forecast model
- Lead the design and implementation of model updates and/or new forecast approaches
- Partner with various groups on capacity planning and inventory management
- Collaborate with internal divisions to integrate key market dynamics and cross-functional expertise into demand forecasts
- Develop and integrate commercial analytics to inform key forecast assumptions
- Support commercial analytics to address a variety of business questions
- Provide objective analysis and recommendations to support decision making and to enable the execution of key business initiatives
- Consider competitive landscape and make adjustments as necessary
- Collaborate with finance to ensure forecast alignment
- Clearly and concisely present analytic / forecast methodology and results to senior leadership
- Perform mid-quarter variance analysis to assess accuracy of forecast and summarize key drivers for senior leadership
- Partner with Sales Ops to develop and implement IC goals
- Build peer support and strong internal relationships with colleagues
Your Background Should Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; MBA or advanced Life Sciences degree is preferred
- 4+ years experience in Market Analysis, Management Consulting, Strategy, or Product Marketing in the healthcare or life sciences industry
- Experience in molecular diagnostics preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive results
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and execute creative solutions
- Experience working with 3rd party data management / analytics service providers
- Demonstrated track record of getting things done and growing responsibility over time
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to produce thoughtful and impactful presentations
- Proficiency in analytical tools is required (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, SAS)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Superior level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of regulatory environment in diagnostics industry
- Willing and able to travel as needed
