Swift Navigation is looking for a GIS Analyst to work as both a map designer and a GIS developer in our Network Team. You will be working with a small team to create spatial data sets, run spatial analysis, gather inputs from different databases, prepare maps, dashboards and reports. Your focus will be the development of a static analysis tool as well as a real time engine to support the analysis and qualification of multiple data. 

You will be responsible for:

• Geographic Data Management
• Exploring data availability and sourcing data for target geographies.
• Integrating third party data files into the GIS databases with a focus on traceability and consistency.
• Network Design
• Designing Stations Network with respect to given requirements and constraints. 
• Mapping and Analysis
• Supporting the Network team, the Business Development team and the Engineering team with mapping, running existent analysis and improving the analysis process.
• Providing and presenting the results of your analysis.

You should have skills and experience with:

• Analyzing spatial data using GIS software, in particularly QGIS
• Compiling data coming from different platforms with geographic data
• Site Tracker, Salesforce, XLSX, text files, Grafana, Promotheus
• Performing data merging and cleaning to convert data into its desired form.
• Produce reports and documents on geographic and statistical data utilizing data visualizations
• Designing digital maps for communication purposes
• Managing a digital library of geographic maps in various file types.
• Database management, real time dataflows and processing:
• Developing real time mapping applications and tools
• Database programming Languages : Python, SQL

We prefer you possess skills in one or more of:

• Degree in Computer Science, GIS, Mapping or related field.
• Proficiency with front end design languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and various mapping languages 
• Relevant experience with many GIS and mapping tools.
• Outstanding quantitative skill set.
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
• Analytical mindset.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding communication skills
