Meraki is looking for an experienced Global Head of Web Strategy to drive the strategic direction, short- and long-term vision, development, and optimization of Meraki web properties to improve the overall customer experience, and maximize return on investment!
As part of the Meraki’s Global Go to Market team, this leader would partner with the Head of Web Development & Operations, Brand and Design, Content Marketing, Market and Audience Strategy, Regional Leads across EMEAR, LATAM, and APJC, ensuring the roadmap aligns with Meraki’s growth objectives and technical capabilities. You will manage feedback from Sales, Marketing, and User Research to improve the visitor experience, identify inefficiencies across the funnel and communicate plans (and risks) broadly across the organization!
You will report to the Head of Go to Market: Digital and Web, and have an active role in all facets of our marketing strategy ensuring we express Meraki’s value and differentiation while delivering web experiences that drive engagement and action.
This role is based in the Mission Bay, San Francisco office and will support global teams. Up to 10% travel is envisioned although, at least initially, must be able to remote work with teams worldwide.
What you'll do
- Champion the business case for strategic web projects with internal stakeholders, demonstrating the value that each enhancement has on the business
- Translate the business case into a roadmap, providing structure and order to the Web Development & Operations team
- Partner alongside the Global Head of Web Dev Ops to ensure initiatives can be executed within our tech stack, budget and timeframe. Explore innovative solutions together and coordinate roadmap and rollout timing
- Relentlessly prioritize web plans for impact or market opportunity
- Manage SEO agency partners and develop strategies that optimize our investments and performance
- Deliver business, technical and operational feedback to stakeholders
- Be a trusted advisor to the wider marketing team to conceptualize and collaborate on marketing campaigns
- Develop thoughtful, customer/market oriented enhancements and web innovations
Who you are
- 10+ years of proven web experience in B2B and/or B2C
- Confirmed leader with a track record for web development
- Metrics oriented approach to continuous improvement web, SEM and SEO marketing tactics
- Understand the in-depth business, technical and operational practices of B2B and eCommerce websites
- Strong ability to translate features into differentiated value and business benefits
- Excellent communicator, creative problem solver, risk-taker, innovative thinker, consensus builder, motivator, assertive leader
- Comfortable leading and collaborating in an Agile Marketing environment
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or Masters Degree a plus
- Up to 10% travel required
