About the role:

The GTM Operations Business Analyst will have a demonstrable understanding of the business processes for Grand Rounds’ Go To Market organization and will be considered a domain expert in the functionality of Salesforce and Sales Productivity Tools in general. You will be responsible for solution delivery which includes project managing the full systems development lifecycle; from requirements gathering, to solution design, to testing, to implementation and rollout and assistance with troubleshooting production support issues.

The ideal candidate will be highly driven, organized, analytical and collaborative, with domain expertise across all segments and roles of the business: sales, customer success, strategic alliances (vendors, brokers and consultants), sales strategy and operations, product marketing, field marketing, solutions consultants and sales management. We're looking for someone passionate and creative in their approach to business analysis. In this role, you will provide strategic direction and ultimately deliver solutions that are robust, scalable and effective at driving sales and customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Scope and design solutions for multiple business processes (Lead to Prospect, Case Request, Order to Cash, Contract Management System, Customer Success integration) which include but are not limited to CPQ, Salesforce, Spring CM, Marketo, Discover.org, Sales Navigator, future Customer Success tool, and integrations with Salesforce.com and systems such as Workday and Anaplan, as well as other business application that support our Go-To-Market functions
  • Work very closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and architect innovative solutions to automate and scale business processes and systems.
  • Understanding broader business drivers to map business needs to process & functional solution design and create detailed functional business requirements docs, use cases and process flow diagrams
  • Build proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technologies
  • Organize and drive solution delivery of strategic initiatives in a predictable way
  • Accountable for the timely delivery of projects as per established roadmaps by working closely with the business teams
  • Manage relationships with multiple business teams for new solution features and technical support
  • Create and present functional and technical design including data analysis to business team, and gather feedback to influence solution design and approach
  • Experience working in and managing a Sprint process with developers and functional owners. Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives
  • Perform gap analysis: as is vs. to be
  • Participate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication and change management
  • Responsible for communication, documentation and training of product releases
  • Writing, reviewing and executing QA and UAT test scripts
  • Managing UAT with end users including scenario staging, coordination and user acceptance sign-off

Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE experience in Salesforce (certification highly desired)
  • JIRA Experience preferred for management of Sprints
  • Experience as Business Analyst working with Go to Market functional areas such as Account/Opportunity management, CPQ, integration with other business systems and understand the full sales motion.
  • 5-8 years of experience preparing as-is process documentation, to-be process documentation, and performing detailed gap analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple, complex projects
  • Demonstrated experience in project conceptualization and planning
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise professional manner, tailored to the appropriate audience; including both verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively within a business unit team and have strong influencing skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and complex tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Must have experience business process mapping, preparing end-user documentation and conducting end-user training
