The Opportunity
As a Lead Fraud Risk Analyst at Afterpay, you will be responsible for tracking company-level KPIs and will be working closely with business partners in order to deliver the best result for our customers. This will require you to have a go-getter attitude and a strong sense of ownership; you should deliver high quality work and no task should be too big or too small for you.

• Diagnose Fraud risks and user experience improvement opportunities
• Participate in Design long term vision and roadmap for fraud risk domain.
• Develop improvement opportunities and/or corrective actions, and support implementation of remediation solutions.
• Collaborate with, drive alignment on key areas with a broad range of stakeholders such as Product, Engineers, Data Scientist, Operations to achieve shared objectives, provide strategic insight and solutions.
• Manage ongoing monitoring activities and risk assessment process.
• Engage with cross-functional stakeholders, internal & external auditors, as well as US Safety leadership on audit initiatives and results.

• 7+ years of industry experience in risk or payment or other relevant industry
• Proven ability to tailor data driven solutions to business problems in a cross-functional team.
• Strong statistic programming skills (Python, R, and SQL preferred).
• Self-driven with the ability to work in a self-guided manner.
• Superb communication and organization skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Quantitative background in computer science, statistics, math, or related disciplines.
• Relevant experience in risk management (fraud/credit), and/or in business growth.
• Advanced knowledge of experimentation and statistical methods.
• Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings, such as classification, personalization, recommendation systems, natural language processing, and computer vision.
