The Lead Analyst, Gaming role is a mobile gaming expert whose industry knowledge and data analysis expertise will help improve Sensor Tower’s Game Intelligence product. The Lead Analyst will lead the development of our Game Taxonomy which is used by major developers and publishers like Supercell, Ubisoft, and Blizzard. You will direct our team of analysts in building out a set of game descriptors that categorize game mechanics, monetization features, and metagame layers. You’ll support the analyst’s work in building new ML models and have editorial control over our new taxonomies. 

If the following sounds like you, you’re a great fit for this role: You have 5-8 years of experience in F2P mobile game development or business research. You are comfortable using data science and machine learning methodologies to produce reports. You excel in competitive research projects. You are an expert in analytics and measuring KPI’s for mobile games like CPI, CPM, ARPDAU, ARPPU, retention metrics, and conversion rates.

Responsibilities:

• Lead editorial decisions on new game taxonomies
• Direct development of machine learning models
• Supervise manual QA process and ensure high accuracy in the taxonomy
• Design new reports and charts using Sensor Tower data

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in mobile gaming with a role in Data, Research or Product
• Management experience preferred
• Experience in enterprise SAAS software development
• Economics or analytics background
• Master’s degree preferred but not required
