Senior Manager, Merchant Experience Analytics
About the Role
This role will focus on driving key strategic projects that will improve the overall merchant experience and merchant operations at DoorDash with the goal to elevate merchant retention and satisfaction. With an ever large base of active partner merchants, it is increasingly important for us to stay close to the needs of our merchants and innovate on products and services to help them grow their off-premise business. This role will have an opportunity to directly influence our merchant experience and operations strategy, and will work very closely with business leaders from our merchant strategy & operations team and merchant product team.

- Oversee multiple areas related to merchant experience (e.g., retention, NPS, menu optimization, onboarding optimization, merchant portal optimization, etc.)
- Set up the framework to address the related areas and recommend business strategies based on opportunity sizing
- Use experimentation and modeling to identify opportunities to drive merchant retention by launching new product features
- Implement business strategies by providing experiment, modeling, and deep dive supports
- Build dashboards to enable operations on the key initiatives
We’re excited about you because you have…
- 8+ years of data science experience
- Bachelor or Master degree or 4+ years with a PhD in relevant fields
- Expert in SQL, Python or R
- Experience with multivariable modeling
- Experience with experimentation (A/B testing, diff-in-diff experiments)
- 2+ years as a manager or an analytics project lead
- Strong communication skills - driving projects in a leadership role
- Operations experience is a plus
- ETL experience is a plus
