The Role
Lark is seeking an experienced and ambitious marketing analyst to help identify and implement opportunities to drive ongoing substantial growth and profitability.  This is an extremely hands-on role with broad exposure to all facets of consumer marketing.  You will have an important voice and role in shaping Lark’s marketing strategy and in continuing to deliver astronomical growth at scale. This role reports to the Vice President of Data Science of Analytics and will be fully embedded with the Consumer Marketing team.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive substantial gains in growth, conversion rates, customer engagement, and ROI by delivering sharp insights and recommendations
  • Partner with channel managers to measure the effectiveness of customer acquisition and engagement campaigns
  • Develop analysis, reports and recommendations to deliver continuous improvement in performance and identify new opportunities
  • Serve as a key member of the testing and experiments team, build a testing roadmap that spans our customer touch points, steer rigorous implementation, and analyze results
  • Propose, socialize, and implement data and systems improvements that enable improved cross-channel coordination, targeting, ROI measurement, segmentation, and personalization
  • Become a subject matter expert in our online enrollment flows, attribution, marketing automation and analytics platforms (particularly Braze, Sisense and Google Analytics), and associated data
  • Develop innovative reporting and dashboards that make it easy to understand campaign performance at a glance, and be the owner of those metrics as they vary along key customer segments
  • Understand data requirements of various campaigns and systems, prepare, format, and verify data files, and ensure compliance with rigorous security and compliance standards

What You’ll Need

  • You are deft at understanding, manipulating and presenting data, and have advanced SQL and spreadsheet skills, Python knowledge is a plus
  • Advanced, hands-on experience with major online marketing tools, such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Adwords, email service providers, testing tools, and BI platforms
  • You are highly inquisitive and unafraid to ask questions and offer your opinions
  • You have worked for successful companies at different stages of the business lifecycle and understand how to create robust, practical processes and systems to drive sustainable growth at scale
  • Deftness at navigating an organization and forming strong partnerships with multiple cross-functional teams
  • You live and breathe scalability, relentlessly prioritize and cringe at the mention of ‘low hanging fruit’ and ‘easy wins’
  • Passionate about digital health and telemedicine

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field preferred
  • 4-7 years post graduation experience in quantitative and  analytic roles, including at least two years in marketing analytics for a consumer-focused business
  • Familiarity and experience with modern data reporting/management tools, e.g.: Looker, Mode, Periscope, Tableau, etc.
