Metadata Specialist
Job Purpose: Ensures that all assigned tasks are completed on time and meets the given quality standards.
Description:
As the Metadata Specialist, responsibilities include working closely with the project management team related to
metadata work such as metadata creation, metadata fixes and validations, working on metadata overlaps and
being able to review or audit metadata work. It is expected that a metadata specialist should have knowledge on
metadata standards, has attention to detail, can identify and report problems so he/she can collaborate with the
internal and external teams in resolving concerns and finding solutions.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
1. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation on metadata.
2. Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality
assurance review or audits.
Performance Management
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production-oriented
dynamic environment with a commitment to professional development and
growth.
4. Maintain accuracy of reports by checking the files and drives being utilized in
the project.
Operational Excellence
5. Attain service level agreements by meeting the number of goals set for the
project.
6. Increase operational efficiency and productivity by finding solutions to common
problems, suggesting process improvements and conducting quality assurance
audits.
7. Build a repository of job aid materials by developing and maintaining process &
training documents, standards, and project information.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelors/College Degree
● Has relevant industry training or certification
● At least 2+ year(s) of experience in the same role (team lead or team manager)
● Has been involved in handling projects, resource scheduling, setting metrics and monitoring
team compliance
● Comfortable working with computers - experience with Chrome and Google Suite (Docs,
Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Hangouts) are a must.
● Self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude
● A positive attitude with outstanding work ethic
● Strong organizational skills with keen attention to details and accuracy
● Solutions-oriented and results focused
● Must be willing to work in Makati when quarantine restrictions are lifted.
● Ability to work from home when necessary.
