Pre-Sales Analytics Manager

The Opportunity at Komodo Health
The Pre-Sales Analytics Manager will partner closely with Komodo Health Internal customers to provide data analysis & strategy insights to support and participate in sales conversations with commercially-oriented Life Sciences teams. The role requires comfort working with life sciences
customers in the Commercial space, relative to data and analytics, and an ability to engage, communicate, consult, and partner effectively.
As one of the members of this business-critical team, you will:
Internal Collaboration
- Be a contact for multiple internal customers and an advocate for biopharma customers, working to consistently meet or exceed client expectations on data solutions strategies (anticipated travel of 10%)
- Generate valuable insights utilizing Komodo data and platforms and package those insights in PowerPoint or other media in a client-ready format for both new presales efforts as well as account expansion for new and existing customers
- Support sales discussions as an analytics subject matter expert to enable close commercially focused solutions’ business
- Maintain a thorough understanding of customers’ needs, gaps, and opportunities for Komodo to deliver ongoing value through data pulls and presentation of analytics; working with internal and external customers strategically to provide proactive value
- Work closely with Sales, Account Management and Customer Success teams to drive value of overall Komodo products and maximize project opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to identify and develop new analytics service offerings
- Share customer feedback with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional colleagues to enhance ongoing product development efforts
- Work as part of a growing, dynamic team to create a culture that supports strategies for scale and growth
Project Management
- Track and manage open requests to make sure timelines are met and accurate information is provided
- Determine methodology to fulfill requests, which can include pulling data from SaaS platforms or directly from data tables using SQL
- Manage communication and status updates of assigned projects
- Assist in incoming JIRA ticket triage as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill data requests as needed
- Attend project status meetings
Data Analysis
- Pull data using SQL or Python from internal data repositories
- Collaborate with internal teams on best practices for ensuring data accuracy
- Analyze data sources to help determine alternate views of the data that will showcase Komodo’s capabilities
What You Bring to Komodo
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Understanding of data assets utilized by Life Sciences customers in the commercial analytics space, including patient level insights, HCP and HCO sales reporting, Market Access (payer) insights and MDM processes and solutions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible mindset to embrace use of new software applications and cloud-based platforms
- Intermediate SQL and/or Python skills
- Project management experience and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects with high quality and grace under pressure
- Experience with data quality assurance
- Excellent customer service skills
- Sincere interest in working at an early-stage startup and scaling with the company as we grow
After 3 months, you will…
- Develop and manage framework for presales support with team
- Become a well-versed SME on KH data dynamics
- Support presales requests from extracts to packaging the story
