Your Role:
TrueAccord is looking for a machine learning engineer to join our Data team.
You will join a multi-functional team of data scientists, data engineers and python developers dedicated to creating a data driven culture, improving the efficiency and dependability of the way we make decisions, and developing our automated debt collection strategy.
In this role, you will productionize models used in our core decisioning engine. You will own and develop the core machine learning infrastructure and will help to improve the model development lifecycle.
We’re looking for a self starter with strong programming and statistical skills who thrives in a collaborative environment. You should be passionate about efficient, scalable and testable coding principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a framework to easily assemble training workflows and data pipelines for machine learning
- Lead adoption and integration of new technologies to improve our machine learning development and production pipelines
- Adapt best practices to exploit modern parallel environments based on distributed clusters, multicore SMP or GPU
- Collaborate with Data Scientists to improve tools for visualization and debugging of models and features
- Study and transform data science prototypes
- Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
- Run machine learning tests and experiments
- Perform statistical analysis and fine-tune using test results
- Train and retrain systems when necessary
- Keep learning about new developments in the field
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining or artificial intelligence
- Proven ability to translate insights into business recommendations
- Python expertise with deep knowledge of statistical and model libraries (e.g.: pandas, scikit-learn, xgboost, etc.)
- Solid SQL skills
- Solid experience with ML tools (Spark, Tensorflow, AirFlow, SageMaker, PMML, etc.)
- Ability to lead architectural discussions, drive technical decision making and implement day-to-day changes
You Might Also Have:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Experience working with the AWS ecosystem
- Knowledge of functional Scala
- FinTech background
