About the Job

We’re looking for someone who can provide quantitative insights to help us better understand our customers based on their actions, measure the impact of various product decisions from both the user experience and revenue perspectives, and guide product development and roadmap decisions. As the Product Analytics Manager, you are eager to drive structured experimentation to design, test, and iterate on strategies to fuel user adoption and retention within our product. This is a highly cross-functional role that works closely with marketing, product management, customer success, operations, and engineering. As part of our data-driven culture, you will be responsible for analyzing, defining and driving key product engagement metrics to drive step changes in our product growth and adoption. 

The ideal candidate has strong familiarity with a wide range of systems and tools, is highly structured and results-driven, and loves to think big and solve ambiguous problems. This role will report into the Head of Business Operations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Drive a deep understanding of product usage across customers, cohorts, personas, etc.
  • Drive user adoption and retention through fast experimentation of user growth initiatives, both in and outside of the product 
  • Develop and act on recommendations to identify opportunities to increase product adoption at each touchpoint of the customer journey
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Customer Education teams to increase product activation through targeted messaging and collateral. Develop instrumentation to execute activation programs at scale
  • Partner with Product team to assess business impact and customer outcomes for planned product features to enable data-driven product roadmap decisions
  • Support and drive maintenance and data integrations across key systems, including Segment, Intercom, Amplitude, Catalyst (Customer Success platform), Zendesk
  • Implement internal cross-team processes and optimize systems integrations to ensure data accuracy 
  • Continuously improve our growth stack by evaluating and implementing new systems and tools

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Growth, Analytics, or Product, preferably at a high-growth SaaS company
  • Experience with product-led growth initiatives and customer journey mapping
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation) 
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across different functions, both technical and non-technical
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with a bias for action and driving results
  • Strong independent project management skills including the ability to define and execute against project timeframes, dependencies and risk factors
  • Thrives in ambiguity, enjoys working on multiple tasks with competing priorities with a high degree of ownership and autonomy
  • Strong familiarity with reading code is a must, including familiarity with JS, JSON, HTML, SQL
  • Experience with wide range of functional systems preferred, including Amplitude, Salesforce, Marketo, Intercom, Catalyst, Google Analytics (or similar systems)
  • Experience with databases and customer data platforms (e.g., Segment) a plus
  • B.A./B.S. Degree, MBA is a plus
