Who You Are

You love breaking things and finding edge cases. You think about what could break, how things break, and why they break. You also care about having a deep understanding of our product and having ownership over general quality. You have a great eye for detail, quality, and good product sense.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with engineering and product management to review new product features, bug fixes, and improvements
• Develop a deep understanding of our product and our customers use cases
• Log bugs and product improvement ideas
• Develop best practices of SDLC together with the cross-functional team
• Take a data-driven approach to testing, e.g. provide data and analytics about how we are performing as a quality-minded organization, and suggest improvements

What we’re looking for:

• We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, proactive, and excited to identify and solve problems
• Experience with testing browser-based SaaS applications
• Passionate about software testing and quality assurance (QA)
• An individual with a methodical approach to testing both to identify new issues but also to understand systemic issues
• Excellent written communication skills. Verbal communication skills is a big plus
• Manual QA experience (3+ years)

What we’d be particularly excited about:

• SaaS analytics experience and data visualization
• Mobile app ecosystem experience
• Programming proficiency. In particular, JavaScript coupled with automated testing experience
